Drive-By Diaper Collection

Central Congregational Church hosted a Drive-By Diaper Collection on 3/27/21.

Due to the energetic, generosity of the local community 7,568 diapers and 7, 252 wipes were collected for Anchor of Hope Diaper (AOH) Bank! AOH typically distributes about 8,000 diapers per month , so that's almost a whole month's worth for us! AOH also spends about $800 to $1,000 a month on diapers, particularly when donations are low, so we are so thrilled that the donations of $850 received on 3/27 gave them another month's cushion! Two whole months of help to local families s amazing for us! Community Service of Newburyport distributes free diapers to Newburyport families through their partnership with AOH and the generosity of The Swasey Fund.
