TP and Power Towel Drive a Huge Success

Roll Into September with Us was a huge success with 858 rolls of toilet paper and 277 rolls of paper towels collected, thanks to the community.  A special thank you to the Newburyport YWCA and The Dance Place for being drop off sites. Thanks also to the Immaculate Conception Church for organizing a collection for this drive and to The Newburyport Rotary Club which donated 100 rolls of toilet paper.  Toilet paper and paper towels, like other personal care products, are not covered by federal assistance programs that can only be used for food.
